Welcome to my project page for a new and exciting nonfiction book, centered on a journey to Tanzania and our universal connection to the African Rift Valley.
On this website you will find my personal trip diary, some of the anthropology and natural history related to this amazing region of Africa, and the philanthropic parts brought together while creating the manuscript.

During the trip I hope to update the story here, as I can, with images and video directly from Tanzania.

This is a story about our changing world, and my small part in it. Key to this story are the interactions and conversations with those who live there.

I am, after all, a "Mzungu," - a aimless wanderer, "dizzy" and a visitor from another land. Never before has one phrase so well encapsulated what I am to the world.
